ECO3 – Energy Company Obligation Scheme

The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme was set up in 2013 to help reduce fuel poverty and carbon emissions.

The ECO (Energy Company Obligation) scheme was set up by the government and began in April 2013. The funding is specifically in place to help reduce fuel poverty and carbon emissions. The amount of funding available varies for each individual case, some receive up to 100% of installation costs.

To qualify for ECO3 Funding you will need to be in receipt of one of the following:

Pension guarantee credit
Income-related employment and support allowance
Income support
Working and child tax credits
Universal credit
Child benefit
Armed forces independence payment
Attendance allowance
Carer’s allowance
Personal independence payment
War pensioner’s mobility supplement
Industrial injuries disablement benefit
