The renewable heat incentive (RHI) is a government led financial incentive that was set up in April 2014, it is designed to promote the use of renewable heat.
If you are interested in switching your current heating system to a renewable energy source, such as an air source heat pump, you could apply for the RHI. Once you join the scheme you must adhere to their terms and conditions to receive the quarterly payments over a seven year period.
To apply for the Domestic RHI you will need a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) certificate number, we are registered with MCS to provide these to our customers when we install air source heat pumps.
